Lower Alford Pond gets a common amount of yearly rain; the month with most of the rain is June while February is mostly the driest month. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Meshoppen Creek, and camping at The Camp At East Lake is always a pleasant experience. While you're here at Lower Alford Pond you can play some golf at Montrose Country Club; hiking along the Pinnacle Trail is splendid fun. If you need a place       to stay Endless Mountain Lodge is a great choice. A delightful place to camp here at Lower Alford Pond is Meadow View Family Campground, and magnificent skiing awaits you at Elk Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Lower Alford Dam is an interesting thing to check out, and the top of Poplar Hill is easily spotted from Lower Alford Pond. For the period of the warmest time of the year here at Lower Alford Pond, high temperatures typically reach the 70's, and                  during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter highs are regularly in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Lower Alford Pond. So much fun stuff close to Lower Alford Pond, clearly tremendous.
