It's always fun to stop by Lopez Pond. If you come at the right time of year, Loyalsock Creek offers some tremendous whitewater, and Lopez Pond is a pleasant place to visit for more than one day, Rocky Valley Campground is a pleasant place to camp nearby. Lopez Pond gets a typical amount of yearly rain; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily June, that's the one that rains the most, and January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.

Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things near Lopez Pond. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Lopez Pond while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 30's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Lopez Pond temperatures drop
to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Pole Bridge Trail; dry warm beds await you at Budget Host Patriot Inn.
