Why not pop by Jeffers Pond Dam if you're here, and a pleasant vista of stunning Jeffers Hill is available. So much enjoyable stuff in close proximity to Loomis Lake, simply remarkable. What would winter be without some skiing at Elk Mountain; going for       a hike on the Pinnacle Trail is always a fine adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Very pretty scenery and perfect skiing is what you get at Montage Mountain. For the duration of the summertime months highs here at Loomis Lake get into the 70's with night lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Loomis Lake. Lakes are such serene sites, why not have a look at Carpenter                  Pond in the neighborhood of Loomis Lake, and Sunrise Lake Family Campgrnds is a brilliant local campground. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Lackawanna River, and if you need a site to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites GIBSON is a glorious choice. This lake is so wonderful. Tanner Pond is a great lake near Loomis Lake; Comfort Inn Clarks Summit is a great place to get some rest.
