Take a side visit to Middle Creek, and a round of golf at nearby Cricket Hill Golf Club is a delightful way to kill some time. If you need a place to stay Tanglewood (Vri) is a tremendous choice, and glorious skiing awaits you at
Ski Big Bear. Stay the night at Wilsonville Recreation Area, and get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Middle Creek - Lackawaxen Tributary.
This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Long Ridge Pond, you could
also have a look at lovely Tinkwig Lake, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Blooming Grove Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Long Ridge Pond has to offer, you can camp at Caffrey Campground, and if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Crawford Trail.
