Butcher Pond is a splendid lake right next door to Long Ridge Pond, and paddling on Lackawaxen River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Very tremendous water scenery is available at Trimpi Pond Dam close to Long Ridge Pond, and after a long day outdoors The Settlers Inn is a splendid place to spend a night or two.
