High temperatures at Long Pond during the warm months are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Highs all through the winter are mostly in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Long Pond are in the 10's. There are plenty of people from East Stroudsburg here at Long Pond, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Tunkhannock Creek. A wonderful lake like Indian Mountain Lake close to Long       Pond is a perfect location to visit, and lakes are such peaceful sites, why not check out Lost Lakes. Long Pond frequently gets a lot of rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Long Pond is right by the Camelback Trail, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Inn At Blakeslee Pocono is a delightful place to spend a night or two. The snow is fine at Big Boulder,                  and don't forget to take a great little visit to Wolfs Spring Run. This lake is so wonderful. Long Pond is nice enough to spend more than a day at, WT Family Camping is a nice local campground; Pimple Hill is easy to spot from Long Pond. Any time is a great time at Long Pond if you like the outdoors. The Boulder Field Trail offers hiking at its best; there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Lehigh River. If you came to camp Fern Ridge Campground is a pleasant spot to do that, and dry warm beds await you at Split Rock Resort. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Long Pond.
