Pennsylvania has many beautiful lakes and Long Pond is one of them. Long Pond is a relatively wet place mostly with a lot of rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular place for people from East Stroudsburg; there's pleasant hiking along the Camelback Trail. If only every location had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great planet it would be.

| | This lake is so wonderful. Indian Mountain Lake is a glorious lake close to Long Pond, and after a long day outdoors Split Rock Resort is a glorious place to spend a night or two. For the duration of the summertime highs here at Long Pond reach the 70's while overnight lows are frequently in the 50's. do that; the Lakeside Trail offers hiking at its best.
Paddling on Lehigh River is so much fun; great hiking is available along the Boulder Field Trail. Man, is there a load of enjoyable things to do close to Long Pond. Wolfs
Spring Run is a great local stream, and Best Western Inn At Blakeslee Pocono is a nice place to get some rest. The slopes of Big Boulder are so inviting noone can resist, and if you came to camp Fern Ridge Campground is a fine place
to do that.
Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Tunkhannock Creek, and Pimple Hill can be observed from Long Pond. Lakes are such calm places, why not go to Tamaque Lake in the vicinity of Long Pond; camping at WT Family Camping is always a great experience.
