High temperatures at Long Pond all through the warm days of summer are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Long Pond temperatures dip to the 10's. Nearby lakes? Sure, Big Pond is close to Long Pond, and you can take a little spree to Harbor       Turning Basin if you're here at Long Pond. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Avalon Hotel is a perfect spot to spend a night or two, and soar down the rapids of Walnut Creek in a kayak. If only every location had this much outdoors cool things, what a great planet it would be. There's so much to do here at Long Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Hills Family Campground is a fine spot for that; lots of people from Erie come here.                  Long Pond is a good place of typical precipitation; during September this area sees the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. Some of the water nearby flows, like West Branch Cascade Creek; if you want to go to some out of the ordinary stuff, go to Big Bend. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Joseph Martin Golf Club. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Long Pond has to offer, you can camp at Cassidy's Presque Isle Trailer Park and Campground, and while you're here you have to visit Crystal Point.
