A visit to Log Tavern Pond is always a good idea. Very glorious water scenery is available at Cresent Lake Dam close to Log Tavern Pond, and Poison Brook is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to. Be careful coming to Log Tavern Pond, you might not ever want to return home again. There are some good whitewater spots on Hornbeck's Creek, and on a gorgeous day you get a great vista of Round Hill from Log Tavern Pond. This lake is so wonderful.

An average amount of rain falls at Log Tavern Pond; through May this area sees the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. outdoors, just come on down to Log Tavern Pond. If you come at the right time of year, Raymondskill Creek offers some fine whitewater; if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Bald Hill Trail. This is a great
vicinity for people who like lakes. Camp Netimus Lake is a lake in the vicinity, and stopping by Delaware National Scenic River is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Shawnee Mountain
and strap some skis to your feet; a delightful nearby hotel is RPAMI - Red Carpet Inn Milford. The warmest time of the year at Log Tavern Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the
50's. Highs through the wintertime are generally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Log Tavern Pond are in the 10's.
