If you need a location to stay Holiday       Inn Express Hotel & Suites Frackville, Pa is a brilliant choice, and you can never get enough of the brilliant skiing at Blue Marsh. The annual rainfall here at Locust Lake is about average; during the month of June you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There's delightful hiking along the Sand Spring Trail, and Silver Creek Reservoir is a good lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. During the warm months, highs mostly are in the 80's at Locust Lake. During the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Through the winter the highs are typically in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Locust Lake.
