A visit to Locust Lake is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. Glide down the rapids of Nescopeck Creek in a kayak, and going for a hike on the Sand Spring Trail is always a great adventure. That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Locust Lake has it all. Camping at Christmas Pines Camp Ground is always a perfect experience; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Blue Marsh while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Montfort

| | Motel & Restaurant is a pleasant location to get some rest; nearby you locate the Yellick Path which is a brilliant hiking trail. Locust Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Red Ridge Lake Campground is a glorious local campground, and Broad Mountain can be observed from Locust Lake. rain around here while February is typically the driest month. Lots of people from Pottsville come to Locust Lake, and Locust Lake Dam is a delightful place, positively worth a visit. If you're a golfer then a wonderful nearby
course is Mountain Valley Golf Course, and Locust Lake lays in the shadow of the Broad Mountain. A lake close by is Broad Mountain Reservoir, and there are perfect places to explore along the Creek Trail. If you need a place to
stay Fairlane Motor Inn is a pleasant choice; get wet paddling on Black Creek. Through the summertime months at Locust Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. Through
the wintertime the highs are usually in the 30's; through the dark hours in the winter at Locust Lake temperatures dip to the 10's.
