Summertime highs at Little Mud Pond generally tend to be in the 80's. Summer night lows fall down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Little Mud Pond. An interesting thing to pop by close to Little Mud Pond is Little Mud Pond Dam, and if you need a spot to stay Villa Roma Resort Lodges is a glorious choice.       There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Mount Tone. Lakes? Sure, Margaret Lake is around here. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Callicoon Creek - East Branch, and why not camp at Camp Indian Head while you're here at Little Mud Pond. Ski Big Bear has good slopes and a friendly staff. Little Mud Pond is a reasonably wet place frequently with a large amount of rain; most of the rain falls all through August; February meanwhile is                  the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Soaring Eagle Campground is a delightful site to camp, and a pleasant close by hotel is The Settlers Inn. Now, you may feel that's lots but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Little Mud Pond.
