Swamps are exciting locations and Ben Bush Swamp right next door to Little Mud Pond is no exception, and a brilliant spot for whitewater paddling is Bush Kill Creek. The skiing at Tanglwood is good, and if the weather is beautiful, you acquire a nice sight of Bald Barren from Little Mud Pond. If only every spot had       this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great earth it would be. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Shawnee Mountain is right next door to Little Mud Pond, and wonderful hiking is available along the Bald Barren Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Do set aside some time for Lavice Meadow Barren while you're here at Little Mud Pond, and there's good hiking along the Maple Brook Trail. The annual precipitation here at Little Mud Pond is about average; through                  May this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Why not camp at Lake Adventure Community Assoc if you're here at Little Mud Pond, and Value Inn East Stroudsburg is a fine spot to get some rest. Go for a hike on the Flat Ridge Trail, and naturally, this is a great region for folks who like lakes, Silver Lake is a lake in the neighborhood. Summertime highs at Little Mud Pond commonly tend to be in the 70's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Little Mud Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Delaware National Scenic River is a very fine place to pop by right next door to Little Mud Pond, and a perfect close by hotel is Fernwood Hotel and Resort. And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do close to Little Mud Pond.
