Go for a hike on the Bald Barren Trail; not far from Little Mud Pond you'll find Rock Hill Pond which is a wonderful lake. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Shohola Creek, and a glorious site to camp here at Little Mud Pond is Dingmans Campground. The sight of stunning Bald Barren near Little Mud Pond is great, and Little Mud Pond is good       enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Adventure Community Assoc is a good local campground. Going for a hike on the Flat Ridge Trail is always a fine adventure, and dry warm beds await you at The Lodge at Woodloch. You can never get enough of the brilliant skiing at Shawnee Mountain, and good hiking is available along the Maple Brook Trail. An average amount of rainfall falls at Little Mud Pond; May is the wettest month with most rain, and February                  is when it's the driest. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Little Mud Pond. Why not go to a swamp like Ben Bush Swamp since you're here at Little Mud Pond. Get drenched paddling on Bush Kill Creek, and Lavice Meadow Barren is a stunning place any time of year. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things at Little Mud Pond. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Little Mud Pond, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Little Mud Pond drop into the 10's.
