So many exciting things to do at Little Beaver Lake, so little time. It's a great idea to explore Hawk Run, it's near Little Beaver Lake, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Boulder Field Trail. There are tremendous places to look at along the Refuge Trail. You'll need more than a       day to discover everything Little Beaver Lake has to offer, you can camp at WT Family Camping. Dry warm beds await you at Split Rock Resort, and a perfect sight of scenic Millstone Mountain is available. This lake is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of Tunkhannock Creek in a kayak, and Placid Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. A lot of rain falls at Little Beaver Lake; during the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is                  the month with the least amount of precipitation. Just can't get enough of Little Beaver Lake. Hawk Falls is an inspiring spot to take a look at while here, and Little Beaver Lake is a wonderful place to visit for more than one day, Jim Thorpe Camping Resort is a wonderful place to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Split Rock is a perfect local ski area, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Split Rock Country Club. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Little Beaver Lake while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Little Beaver Lake. While you're here at Little Beaver Lake, you could also take a look at delightful Holiday Lake; the skiing at Big Boulder is magnificent.
