Get yourself into a kayak and hit Conewago Creek - East; if you're a golfer then a wonderful nearby course is Royal Oaks Golf Club. There's some flowing water close by, Brandywine Creek is a stream you can stop by while here; if you came for an overnight stay Jonestown Koa is a fine place to camp. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Lions Lake; the month of June is the wettest with most of       the rain, and the driest of the months is February. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lions Lake; the night is fairly colder of course, usually in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Lions Lake descend into the 10's. Any time is a fine time at Lions Lake if you love the outdoors. The Horseshoe Trail offers hiking at its best, and Lickdale Campground is a good                  campground nearby. There's great hiking along the Old Indian Trail; Lights Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out. Lions Lake is right by the Foxs Path, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Jonestown is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. While you're here at Lions Lake you will meet lots of folks from nearby Lebanon; Budget Motor Lodge is a splendid spot to get some rest.
