Be careful coming to Lions Lake, you might not ever wanna return home again. A quick spree to Brandywine Creek close to Lions Lake is a splendid idea, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Old Indian Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lions Lake is right by the Horseshoe Trail, and you can stay the night at Lickdale Campground. Lions Lake is close to Lights Dam which is a pretty site positively worth checking out, and since       you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Ebenezer Lake. Lions Lake is a good site of normal rainfall; June is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Lions Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Lions Lake.                  This lake is so wonderful. Lions Lake is a great location to camp, Jonestown Koa is a great location. You can run the rapids of Conewago Creek - East in close proximity to Lions Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn Jonestown. Hiking along the Foxs Path is pleasant fun, and after a long day outdoors Budget Motor Lodge is a good site to spend a night or two.
