This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Camp Weequahic. Tinker Hollow is a perfect location to have a look at close by; do explore East Branch Lackawanna River while you're here at Lewis Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is Scranton Pa Days Inn; delightful skiing awaits you at Elk Mountain. Lewis Lake is not the only location close by, Stillwater Lake is a close by lake, and if you come at       the right time of year, Middle Creek - Lackawaxen Tributary offers some good whitewater. Now, you may think that's plenty but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Lewis Lake. A lake nearby is Coterell Lake, and drift down the rapids of Lackawanna River in a kayak. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Mount Tone, and after a long day outdoors Scranton-Days Inn Dunmore is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. During the summer                  months, highs regularly are in the 70's at Lewis Lake. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Lewis Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lewis Lake a wet place; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February.
