Lewis Lake gets a typical amount of annual rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Elizabethtown/Hershey KOA; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Conewago Creek - East. While you're here at Lewis Lake you       can play some golf at Sunset Golf Course; hiking along the Rattling Run Trail is delightful fun. During the summer months here at Lewis Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Lewis Lake are in the 20's. Do stop by Lake Frederic near Lewis Lake, it's a lovely lake, also Lewis Dam is worth a visit since you're here.                  You'll meet a lot of people from York-Hanover here, and the Horseshoe Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Conewago Creek is a stream that you may bump into while you're here; dry warm beds await you at Four Points By Sheraton York. You absolutely should adore Lewis Lake. Why not camp at Hershey Conewago Campground while you're here at Lewis Lake, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Corporate Gateway is a great spot to spend a night or two. You feel that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. There's whitewater on Codorus Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers; Ski Roundtop is a very popular ski area around here.
