There's fine hiking along the Smith Trail, and a nice close by hotel is Shawnee Village Resort. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a splendid time here at Lenape Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Brodhead Creek offers some good whitewater, as expected you could also go to Paper Mill Pond since you're here; it's       not far at all. For the duration of the months of summer highs here at Lenape Lake reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Through the winter the highs are usually in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Lenape Lake. Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Lenape Lake. If you came to camp Otter Lake Camp-resort is a great location to do that, and don't forget to take a great little                  spree to Dunnfield Creek. If you're here, you might as well pop by Cherry Valley, and there are some great whitewater spots on Pocono Creek. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Great Bear Golf and Country Club is nearby; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Shawnee Mountain. A short tour to Buttermilk Falls is always worthwhile; Lenape Lake is a location with many visitors from East Stroudsburg. Head up to Alpine Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and splendid hiking is available along the Camelback Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Lenape Lake without first going for a hike along the Indian Trail, and Minisink Hills is clearly visible from Lenape Lake. There's so much to do here at Lenape Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hickory Lake Campground is a magnificent site for that, and perhaps you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Spring Lake is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. Brodheads Creek Dam is a delightful location right next door to Lenape Lake, and no need to travel far to go to exciting stuff like Indian Head.
