The beauty of Lenape Lake is reason enough to stop by. Nearby Cherry Valley is a splendid place to go if you're at Lenape Lake, and you get a good view of Minisink Hills from here. Having a great time at Lenape Lake is trouble-free. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Great Bear Golf and Country Club, and no need to travel far to go to exciting stuff like Indian Head. This lake is so wonderful. | | that you need to camp here for a while, Hickory Lake Campground is a great location for that; if you've had enough of Lenape Lake, Lake Poco is nearby. Skiing at Alpine Mountain is one of those things you just have to do, and Brodheads Creek Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out. Mountain if you're here. A short visit to Buttermilk Falls is always worthwhile, and in the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pocono Creek. All the outdoors exciting
things next to Lenape Lake will keep you coming back many times. If you came to camp Otter Lake Camp-resort is a great place to do that, and at Lenape Lake you always meet someone from East Stroudsburg. This lake is so wonderful.
Dry warm beds await you at Shawnee Village Resort, and close by you discover the Smith Trail which is a fine hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. You could also check out Stoefflet Pond while you're here at Lenape Lake; it's close
by; if you need a place to stay Budget Inn and Suites is a fine choice. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lenape Lake a wet place; all through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months
is February. Dunnfield Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to, and there is a magnificent hiking trail nearby called the Camelback Trail. The Indian Trail is a tremendous hiking trail close to Lenape Lake, and Brodhead Creek is a tremendous whitewater spot nearby.
