High temperatures at Lehighton Reservoir through the warm months are in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 20's while Lehighton Reservoir night low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's. Not far from Lehighton Reservoir, you'll find Beltzville Lake which is a gorgeous lake; dry warm beds       await you at Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Lehighton, Pa. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Tunkhannock Creek, and nice skiing awaits you at Blue Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Big Boulder, and the Choke Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. Lehighton Reservoir is right by the Refuge Trail, and a wonderful site to camp here at Lehighton Reservoir is                  Jim Thorpe Camping Resort. That right there is plenty already, but it carries on; Lehighton Reservoir has it all. An exciting thing to visit in close proximity to Lehighton Reservoir is Number Three Dam. Lakes are great; Kriss Pines Lake is a lake that's near Lehighton Reservoir. Berry Run flows through this region; there are some good whitewater spots on Lehigh River. If you need a spot to stay Inn at Jim Thorpe is a great choice, and if you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. The high level of rain makes Lehighton Reservoir a rather wet spot; most of the rain falls through August, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful.
