Knoebels Resort and Campground
 | 17 miles away ...ually I don't care for campground bathrooms but Knoebels keeps theirs very clean. While it's a pain sometimes because there is no sewer or water hookup, we always have a great time there. My daughter who is now 13 started going on roller coasters there when she was 9 and now we can't keep her off of coasters where ever we go. I also like the fact that we can walk back and forth to our site. Sometimes when we go to amusement parks I really don't feel like going on the rides, but I do because I had to pay to get in. At Knoebels you either buy tickets and go on the rides you want or sometimes they have a handstamp. If you don't want to go on rides, you can still walk around and enjoy the park without having to pay. I also like the fact that it is geared towards families. In the amusement park you can wear a bathing suit when you are on the water rides, but to walk around you have to wear clothes, you can't walk around in just your suit(guys and girls) and if your shirt says or shows anything offensive you have to either wear your shirt inside out or leave the park. This is definately a ... |
