This lake is so wonderful. During your journey to Laurel Lake you'll meet some folks from East Stroudsburg for sure. There's so much to do here at Laurel Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pocono Vacation Park Campground is a perfect place for that. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. The Lakeside Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Hunter Lake is a perfect lake near Laurel       Lake, and not far from Laurel Lake you acquire some delightful water scenery at Wigwam Lake Dam. Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Laurel Lake. Don't leave Laurel Lake without first going for a hike along the Indian Trail, and some close by water includes Bulgers Run. A golf course near Laurel Lake is Evergreen Golf Club; there's good hiking along the Camelback Trail. Camelback has great slopes and a friendly                  staff, and paddling on Paradise Creek is so much fun. Hit the slopes at Mount Airy Lodge close by, and if you need a place to stay Poconos/Bartonsville Knights Inn is a good choice. All through the summertime months here at Laurel Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are usually in the 20's with temperatures at Laurel Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. If you came to camp The Camp At East Lake is a pleasant place to do that; after a long day outdoors Howard Johnson Inn - Bartonsville is a great location to spend a night or two. Laurel Lake is a wet place that gets lots of precipitation; May is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
