If you are in this part of Pennsylvania make sure to pay a visit to Laurel Lake. A scenic lake like Laurel Forge Pond in close proximity to Laurel Lake is a tremendous spot to pop by, and after a long day outdoors Carlisle - Days Inn is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. Playing golf is lots of fun at Piney Apple Golf Course; Laurel Dam is a wonderful place, absolutely worth taking a look at. There are some great whitewater spots on Conewago Creek - West; hiking is a popular thing to do around Laurel Lake; Watershed Trail is a good local trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff right next door to Laurel Lake.

Laurel Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; June is the wettest month with most rain while January is commonly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Tagg Run Camp Ground is a delightful campground here; pleasant hiking is
available along the Ant Mount Trail. High temperatures at Laurel Lake through the summertime are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's
with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Laurel Lake.
There's whitewater on Bermudian Creek for all you adrenaline kick people; don't leave Laurel Lake without first going for a hike along the Hammonds Rocks Trail. This
lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Ski Liberty close by; Buck Ridge Tower is a peak you can observe from Laurel Lake.
