Laurel Hill Lake is right by the Brant Trail; you can hit the slopes at Hidden Valley close by. Dry warm beds await you at Somerset Knights Inn, and Seven Springs is a very popular ski area around here. At Laurel Hill Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows during the winter       for Laurel Hill Lake tend to be in the 10's. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Laurel Hill Creek; a golf course nearby is Middlecreek Golf Course. Take a side visit to Allen Creek; after a long day outdoors Somerset Super 8 Motel is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. The Wolf Rocks Trail offers hiking at its best, and Laurel Hill                  Lake is not far at all from Somerset. Laurel Hill Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; June is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Pioneer Park Campground is a pleasant campground nearby, and Laurel Hill Lake Dam is not far at all from Laurel Hill Lake. Take a hike on the Darr Trail.
