Summer at Latrobe Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Latrobe Reservoir dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. The snow is delightful at Hidden Valley. This lake is so wonderful.       The Wolf Rocks Trail offers hiking at its best, and of course, this is a pleasant area for folks who like lakes, Ice Pond is a lake around here. After a long day outdoors Ramada Inn At Historic Ligonier is a pleasant location to spend a night or two, and if you came to camp Forbes Trail Camp is a perfect spot to do that. Lakes are delightful; Derry Rod And Gun Club Lake is a lake that's next to Latrobe Reservoir, and Champion Lakes Golf Club is a splendid                  golf course nearby. There's delightful hiking along the Brant Trail, and there's whitewater on Loyalhanna Creek for all you adrenaline people. That right there is plenty already, but it keeps on going; Latrobe Reservoir has it all. Dry warm beds await you at Hampton Inn & Suites Blairsville; Latrobe Reservoir Dam is beautiful. Visit Coalpit Run if you're here at Latrobe Reservoir, and Latrobe Reservoir is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Donne Lake Campground is a pleasant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to The Springs at Laurel Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and Bergstrom Hollow is in the vicinity, and is a brilliant spot. Good hiking is available along the Darr Trail; get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Fourmile Run.
