You'll need more than a day to explore everything Larsen Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lake Greeley Camp. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Lakeside Trail is always a perfect adventure; swamps like English       Swamp are fun to stop by. During the summertime months, highs typically are in the 80's at Larsen Lake. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Larsen Lake. You could also pop by Snag Pond while you're here at Larsen Lake; it's nearby, and at Larsen Lake you can make out Prospect Rock. Take a side visit to West Fork Lehigh River, and probably you're                  looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Lower Klondike Pond is just a very short distance away. The scenery at Larsen Dam right next door to Larsen Lake is striking. There's so much to do here at Larsen Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hemlock Campground and Cottages is a wonderful spot for that. And that's not all you can do here at Larsen Lake. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Big Boulder. Larsen Lake is a good spot of common rain; June is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is January. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area close to Larsen Lake has to offer.
