A visit to Lake Lard is always a good idea. Asaph Run is a great spot to go to; there's great hiking along the Left Strait Run Trail. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Lake Lard while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Lake Lard. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is glorious at Ski Sawmill.

| | A nice nearby hotel is Coach Stop Inn, and if the weather is gorgeous, you get a perfect panorama of Mount Nesmuk from Lake Lard. If you came to camp Canyon Country Campground is a glorious place to do that, and the Scotch Pine Hollow Trail offers hiking at its best. There's so much to do here at Lake Lard that you need to camp here for a while, Stony Fork Creek Campground is a great place for that, and whitewater paddling is great on Stony Fork Creek.

need a site to stay Great Valley Motel is a great choice; a glorious place to check out nearby is Compound Hollow. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling
on Pine Creek, and great hiking is available along the Darling Road Trail. From a precipitation point of view Lake Lard is a reasonably typical place; all through the month of June you get the most rain around here while January is mostly the driest month.
