The Pittsburgh Golf Club is a delightful golf course close by; if you've had enough of Lampher Reservoir, Panther Hollow Lake is nearby. A normal amount of rain falls here at Lampher Reservoir; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is January. This lake is so wonderful.       This lake is so wonderful. Lampher Reservoir is not the only place nearby, Lake Ottilie is a nearby lake, and you can run the rapids of Pine Creek. If you're here at Lampher Reservoir, you could check out Girtys Run, and if you need a site to stay Residence Inn By Marriott Pittsburgh Oakland is a nice choice. Montour Run is a splendid whitewater spot near Lampher Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Lampher Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while,                  Camp Adventure is a magnificent site for that. If you came to camp Pittsburgh North Camp Ground is a magnificent site to do that; folks from Pittsburgh love to come here. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Boyce Park, and Courtyard By Marriott Pittsburgh Shadyside is a fine place to get some rest.
