The Lakes gets a normal amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is June; January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn WILLIAMSPORT is a great place to spend a night or two, and the Potash Trail is a splendid hiking trail close by. There's some flowing water nearby, Brion Creek is a stream you can take a look at while here, and camping is available at Sheshequin       Camp Ground. This lake is so wonderful. You're in all probability interested in lakes, Halls Pond is one of those close by; a day on the slopes of Ski Sawmill is just what you need. Near The Lakes you find the Fisher Trail which is a fine hiking trail, and Genetti Hotel and Suites is a magnificent spot to get some rest. Hall Pond                  is close at hand; Miners Run is a magnificent whitewater spot nearby. Summer at The Lakes arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows during the winter for The Lakes tend to be in the 10's. There is a fine hiking trail in the neighborhood of The Lakes called the Bloss Mountain Trail, and if you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tioga River.
