The warmest time of the year at Lake Watawah comes with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Lake Watawah dipping down into the 10's through       winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Camelback is a pleasant place to do that, and Witmer Dam is not far at all from Lake Watawah. Some of the water close by flows, like Lake Creek, and Lake Watawah is right by the Indian Trail. Witmers Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore, and dry warm beds await you at Red Carpet Inn Wind Gap. The high level of rain makes Lake Watawah a pretty wet site; during May this area sees the most rain,                  and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. There are some good whitewater spots on Martins Creek, and what would winter be without some skiing at Mount Airy Lodge. If you came to camp Silver Valley Campsites is a great site to do that, and if you need a place to stay Flower Field Motel And Cottages is a splendid choice. Take a hike on the Camelback Trail; while you're here, you could also stop at wonderful Saylors Lake. So much entertaining stuff to do at Lake Watawah, so little time. A journey to Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor is worthwhile. There's so much to do here at Lake Watawah that you need to camp here for a while, The Camp At East Lake is a perfect location for that.
