Why not take a refreshing hike along the Boundary Trail, and skiing at Ski Big Bear is one of those things you just must do. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Middle Creek - Lackawaxen Tributary; Lake Wanoka is right by the Blooming Grove Trail. This lake is so wonderful. wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Tanglewood (Vri), and Collins Pond Dam is a wonderful spot. Near Lake Wanoka you stumble on a golf course called Honesdale Golf Club, and naturally, this is a brilliant vicinity for folks
who like lakes, Cadjaw Pond is a lake close at hand. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Lake Wanoka. Throughout the warm months at Lake Wanoka highs are generally in the 70's, and the overnight is somewhat chillier of
course, regularly in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's; nighttime lows during the wintertime for Lake Wanoka tend to be in the 0's. If you come at the right time of year, Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch offers some pleasant whitewater, and the White Deer Trail offers hiking at its best.
