The slopes of Mount Tone are so inviting noone can resist, and Lake Underwood is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Twin Falls Campground is a good spot to camp nearby. Lake Underwood is a wet site that gets a large amount of precipitation; throughout August this area sees the most rain; the driest month is       February. Throughout the warm days of summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Lake Underwood. For the period of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Lake Underwood are in the 10's. But wait, there's more to do near Lake Underwood.
