Camping at Evergreen Lake Camping is always a good experience; get your pulse rate up on the magnificent whitewater of Lehigh River. This lake is so wonderful. Peek is Chestnut Lake Campground; a fine place for whitewater paddling is Tunkhannock Creek.
Summer at Lake Tu Peek arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. The cold days
of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Lake Tu Peek fall into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Camelback Trail is always a glorious
adventure, and don't miss out on a tour to Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor while you're here. Lots of precipitation falls at Lake Tu Peek; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest of the months is February.
