Lake Towhee is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Tohickon Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers; Lake Towhee is a delightful spot to visit for more than one day, Little Red Barn Camp Grounds is a delightful spot to camp nearby. You can run the rapids of Unami Creek near Lake Towhee, and Bear Creek has great slopes and a friendly staff. Some nearby water includes Dimple Creek.

| | enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Lake Towhee. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop at Lake Towhee Dam. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lake Towhee has to offer, you can camp at Tohickon Family Campground. During the months of summer at Lake Towhee highs are commonly in the 80's. Lake Towhee sees pretty high levels of precipitation;
of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; October is when it's the driest. After a long day outdoors Courtyard Bethlehem is a glorious place to spend a night or two; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Spring Mountain.
