If you need a place to stay Candlewood Suites HAZLETON is a fine choice; Tomhicken Falls is a nice local attraction. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Susquehanna; Yellick Path is a great local trail. paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Black Creek. There's so much to do here at Lake Susquehanna that you need to camp here for a while, Council Cup Campground is a brilliant place for that. All through
the warm months at Lake Susquehanna temperatures are typically in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Susquehanna
temperatures fall to the 10's. Little Sugarloaf Mountain can be observed from Lake Susquehanna; during your trip here you'll meet some folks from Pottsville for sure.
