What a site this is for outdoors people. A round of golf at nearby Vestal Hills Country Club is a nice way to kill some time, and Great Cedar Swamp is an exciting swamp near Lake Stanmor. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Chenango Valley State Park, and there's some flowing water       nearby, Little Rhiney Creek is a stream you can check out during your stay. Summertime at Lake Stanmor arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are generally in the 20's with temperatures at Lake Stanmor dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Lake Stanmor is a good place of normal rainfall; June is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. This                  is a popular site for people from Binghamton, and there's some interesting stuff to distinguish at Baker Dam next to Lake Stanmor. If you came for an overnight stay East Lake Campground is a delightful place to camp; after a long day outdoors Clarion Collection Grand Royale Hotel is a good site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. A lovely lake like Tripp Lake close to Lake Stanmor is a nice place to have a look at.
