For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Lake Somerset are in the 10's. Trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit Quemahoning Creek. Not far from Lake Somerset you get some great water scenery at Coxes Creek Dam; the slopes of The Springs at Laurel Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist. This lake
is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Hidden Valley. A great close by hotel is Holiday Inn Somerset,Pa, and a great spot to camp here at Lake Somerset is Hidden Lake Campground.
