There's so much to do here at Lake Redman that you need to camp here for a while, Indian Rock Campgrounds is a good site for that. Lake Redman gets a typical amount of precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is January. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Lake Redman. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for       you then we recommend Susquehanna River; if you need a site to stay Holiday Inn Express York is a nice choice. There are some good whitewater spots on Codorus Creek, and during your trip here you'll meet some folks from York-Hanover for sure. A lake close by is York Reservoir; why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Out Door Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Camp Echo Trail, and Lake Redman                  is good enough to spend more than a day at, Ben Franklin RV Park is a good local campground. Country Inn & Suites By Carlson York is a wonderful place to get some rest, and Lake Redman is not the only spot nearby, Lake Williams is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. Very fine water scenery is available at York Water Company Dam in the neighborhood of Lake Redman, and you can never get enough of the great skiing at Ski Roundtop. All through the summer at Lake Redman temperatures are generally in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 60's.
