If you come at the right time of year, Meshoppen Creek offers some great whitewater; there are       plenty of people from Binghamton here at Lake Raylean. Any time is a great time at Lake Raylean if you adore the outdoors. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites GIBSON is a brilliant location to get some rest, and skiing at Elk Mountain is one of those things you just must do. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn BINGHAMTON-DWTN (HAWLEY ST), and Lake Chrisann is a nearby lake that you could visit. Do visit Loomis Lake near Lake Raylean, it's a wonderful lake.                  This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Montrose Country Club is a nice way to kill some time. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Raylean has to offer, you can camp at Meadow View Family Campground. Throughout the days of summer at Lake Raylean highs are typically in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
