Lake Pyle is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Lake Pyle with nighttime lows in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Lake Pyle sink into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Donegal - Days Inn is a wonderful choice, and the Wolf Rocks Trail offers hiking at its best.

If you're a golfer then a tremendous close by course is King's Mountain Golf Course, and there's fine hiking along the Great Gorge Trail. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Darr Trail;
naturally Ansell Run is a gorgeous stream that is worth a visit. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Roaring Run Resort, and why not head up to Seven Springs and strap some skis to your feet.
The snow is glorious at Hidden Valley, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Drake Run.
