This lake is so wonderful. The Camelback Trail is a good hiking trail near Lake Naomi, and a perfect swamp in the vicinity of Lake Naomi is Dark Swamp. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lake Naomi has to offer, you can camp at Fern Ridge Campground, and Lake Naomi is not far at all from East Stroudsburg. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Lehigh River, and since you might       be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Lost Lakes. And if that's not sufficient, there's a load more to do near Lake Naomi. There is a pleasant hiking trail near Lake Naomi called the Indian Trail, and getting to Beaver Creek from Lake Naomi is uncomplicated. High temperatures at Lake Naomi all through the warm days of summer are in the 70's; the night is a bit cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's. Through the winter this place gets                  highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Lake Naomi. Why not explore Lake Naomi Dam if you're here, and a day on the slopes of Camelback is just what you need. Lake Naomi gets much water; most of the rain falls during July, and February is the month with the least moisture. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Tunkhannock Creek, and if you need a location to stay Best Western Inn At Blakeslee Pocono is a wonderful choice.
