If you are in Adams county it's always a good idea to stop by Lake Meade. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Maple Hollow Trail. All through the summer months highs here at Lake Meade reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Meade temperatures descend to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Lake Meade; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. You'll meet a lot of people from Gettysburg here, and drift down the rapids of Beaver Creek in a kayak. Paddling on Bermudian Creek is so much fun, and you can go for a hike on the Scenic Vista Trail.

for a fine time. If you came to camp Hershey's Fur Center is a perfect place to do that, and going for a hike on the Hammonds Rocks Trail is always a great adventure. There's so much to do here at Lake Meade that you need to camp
here for a while, Dillsburg Koa Kampground is a nice place for that, and after a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Dillsburg is a fine spot to spend a night or two. Very good water scenery is available at Lake Meade Dam near Lake Meade, and why not a little side spree to Latimore Creek.
