This lake is so wonderful. A pretty lake like Upper Pigeon Hill Lake in close proximity to Lake Meade is a good place to explore, and Lake Meade Dam is not far at all from Lake Meade. A great location for whitewater paddling right next door to Lake Meade is Bermudian Creek; skiing at Ski Roundtop is one of those things you just have to do. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lake Meade. Stay the       night at Hershey's Fur Center, and lakes are such serene sites, why not pop by Kaiser Lake. There's perfect hiking along the Maple Hollow Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Hanover Super 8 Motel; tremendous hiking is available along the Scenic Vista Trail. You'll meet a lot of people from Gettysburg here; Beaver Creek is a wonderful whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Dillsburg Koa Kampground is a great campground nearby, and there's                  some flowing water close by, Latimore Creek is a stream you can pop by during your stay. Through the summertime months at Lake Meade highs are frequently in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Lake Meade are in the 10's. Lake Meade gets a normal amount of annual rain; throughout May this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
