Lake Margus is a magnificent place to camp, L&M Campground is a magnificent place; Cherrywood Golf Course is a wonderful golf course close by. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. You're sure to run into some good people from Indiana here; why not take a refreshing hike along the Roger Mountain Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western University Inn, and in the event       that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Blacklick Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Little Mahoning Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby. Holiday Inn Indiana, Pa is a nice site to get some rest, and L and M Campgrounds is a glorious campground here. Lake Margus is a relatively wet place usually with lots of rainfall; July is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.                  Summertime highs at Lake Margus usually tend to be in the 70's, and the overnight is rather cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and night lows at Lake Margus during the winter mostly descend into the 10's. If you're here at Lake Margus, you could stop by Laurel Run, and do take a hike on the Laurel Highlands Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
