Lake Margus is a lake worth visiting. Stay the night at L&M Campground, and swing by Laurel Run it's a glorious site to go to. On a good day at Lake Margus you can take a hike along the Clark Run Trail, and a splendid nearby hotel is Quality Inn & Suites Indiana. Whitewater paddling is good on Little Mahoning Creek, and there's some exciting stuff to observe at Elroy Face Dam in the neighborhood of Lake Margus.

There is a good hiking trail close to Lake Margus called the Roger Mountain Trail; if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Indiana, Pa is a good choice.

camp nearby, and Cherrywood Golf Course is a great golf course nearby. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Lake Margus, too magnificent to be true. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling
on Blacklick Creek, and close by you locate the Laurel Highlands Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. Summertime highs at Lake Margus usually tend to be in the 70's while overnight lows are typically in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Lake Margus dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.
