Go for a hike on the Bald Hill Trail, and of course, all our national parks are nice places to visit and Delaware National Scenic River is no exception. Dry warm beds await you at Fernwood Hotel and Resort, needless to say you could also pop by Fawn Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. For the period of the long summer days at Lake Log-n-Twig highs are typically in the 70's.       When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Lake Log-n-Twig. A great deal of rainfall falls at Lake Log-n-Twig; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is February. If you need a place to stay Forest Motel is a perfect choice; you can run the rapids of Hornbeck's Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a                  hike on the Bald Barren Trail is always a perfect adventure, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Deer Leap Falls. There's always Wild Acres Lake Dam to stop at near Lake Log-n-Twig, and the skiing at Shawnee Mountain is perfect. Tanglwood is a pleasant local ski area. Man, is there heaps of enjoyable stuff to do close to Lake Log-n-Twig. Lake Log-n-Twig is good enough to spend more than a day at, Walpack Valley Campground is a good local campground, and close by you discover the Flat Ridge Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful.
