recommend Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Bush Kill Creek for all you thrill seekers, and Big Inlet Swamp is an interesting swamp right next door to Lake Laura. Through the days
of summer here at Lake Laura, high temperatures typically reach the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Highs during the winter are regularly in the 30's while Lake Laura overnight low temperatures
throughout the winter are in the 10's. There's so much to do here at Lake Laura that you need to camp here for a while, Ledgedale Recreation Area is a pleasant site for that, and Delaware National Scenic River is a very good spot
to take a look at. The annual rain here at Lake Laura is about average; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. There's glorious hiking along the Rock Oak Trail; here at Lake Laura you can observe Belle Mountain.
