At Lake Latonka during the summertime highs are in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Latonka temperatures sink to the 10's. A common amount of rain falls here at Lake Latonka; June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest       month is February. Soar down the rapids of Neshannock Creek in a kayak, and Lake Latonka is not far at all from New Castle. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Mercer/grove City Koa, and you'll find a lovely lake called Little Shenango Dam Reservoir. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Mercer, and you can take a little trip to Lake Latonka Dam if you're here at Lake Latonka. You think that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Lakes are such                  calm sites, why not pop by Sandy Lake near Lake Latonka; golf can be played at Spring Valley Golf Club and Lodge.
