Lake Kurtz is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Beechwood Campground is a wonderful local campground; a brilliant nearby hotel is Waynebrook Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Birchview Farm Campgrounds is always a good experience, and there are plenty of people from Reading here. Lake Kurtz sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month of the year       is February. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are delightful; Coatesville Reservoir is a lake that's close to Lake Kurtz, and you can go for a hike on the Horseshoe Trail. Very good water scenery is available at Kurtz Dam near Lake Kurtz, and going for a hike on the Buzzard Trail is always a glorious adventure. Looking for some flowing water? Try Rock Run, and a great location for whitewater paddling is Brandywine Creek - West Branch. If you're a golfer                  then a brilliant close by course is Honeybrook Golf Club, and close by you stumble on the Lenade Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. Summertime highs at Lake Kurtz mostly tend to be in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Lake Kurtz are in the 10's. Having a glorious time at Lake Kurtz is trouble-free.
