This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lake John, you could also go to lovely Lake John, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Loyalsock Creek. Having a good time at Lake John is painless. Don't leave Lake John without first going for a hike along the Pole Bridge Trail, and you can       stay the night at Good's Campground. Go for a hike on the Irish Settlement Trail; get drenched paddling on Kitchen Creek. Lake John is a good spot of typical precipitation; throughout June this area sees the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Little Rouse Pond is a nearby lake that you could visit, and do check out Cherry Ridge Run if you're here at Lake John. Going for a hike on the Old Bulldozer Road Trail is always                  a good adventure; High Cobble is painless to spot from Lake John. This lake is so wonderful.
