This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Montour Run, and Washington Koa Kampground is a good local campground. Whitewater paddling is nice on Pine Creek; do visit Canonsburg Number Two Reservoir, it's       a beautiful lake. All the outdoors amusing things close to Lake Jo-Ann will keep you coming back many times. The scenery at Lake Jo-Ann Dam near Lake Jo-Ann is stunning, and Lake Jo-Ann is a location with many visitors from Pittsburgh. High temperatures at Lake Jo-Ann during the days of summer are in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the                  10's to Lake Jo-Ann. The annual rainfall here at Lake Jo-Ann is about average; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while January is regularly the driest month. Very pretty scenery and fine skiing is what you get at Boyce Park, and Crowne Plaza Hotel PITTSBURGH SOUTH is a great site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
