Laurel Run is a glorious site to go to, and if you need a location to stay Skytop Lodge is a delightful choice. And if that's not sufficient, there's a lot more to do near Lake Jamie. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Gravel Pond, and what would winter be without some skiing at Mount Airy Lodge. A splendid       location to camp here at Lake Jamie is Ledgedale Recreation Area, and near Lake Jamie you come across a golf course called Buck Hill Falls CO Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. On a fine day at Lake Jamie you can take a hike along the Snow Shanty Trail, and get your pulse rate up on the splendid whitewater of Wallenpaupack Creek. Lakes are glorious; Lake in the Clouds is a lake that's close to Lake Jamie; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if                  it's for you then, we recommend Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Jamie is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Pocono Ridge is a pleasant local campground; hey, Gotta ski right? Alpine Mountain is a tremendous place to do that. Lake Jamie is a rather wet place ordinarily with lots of rainfall; most of the rain falls through June; February meanwhile is the driest month. If only every location had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great planet it would be. Lake Jamie Dam is a location that is close to Lake Jamie; going for a hike along the Burley Inlet Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. One of the governing characteristics of the surroundings of Lake Jamie is Middle Mountain, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Boundary Trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Lake Jamie, and during the night it cools down to the 50's.
