After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn West Hazleton is a glorious location to spend a night or two, and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Pinnacle Trail. All through the warm days of summer highs here at Lake Irena get into the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. During the winter highs are commonly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here

Western Genetti Lodge is a delightful place to get some rest, and Sand Springs Country Club is a tremendous golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. On a beautiful day you get a view of Butler Mountain from Lake Irena, and
if you've had enough of Lake Irena, Grape Run Reservoir is nearby.
Glide down the rapids of Wapwallopen Creek in a kayak; since you're here, you could pop by Boyds Run.
