Many people like to go to Lake Irena. Boyds Run is a splendid spot to pop by; the sight of Butler Mountain is striking. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Irena; Appalachian National Scenic Trail is a great local trail. the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Lake Irena.
The yearly rainfall here at Lake Irena is about average; the
month with most of the rain is June, and the driest month is February. A good nearby hotel is Best Western Genetti Lodge; get yourself into a kayak and hit Black Creek. This lake is so wonderful.
