Lake Hamilton is a brilliant location to visit for more than one day, Camp Indian Head is a brilliant location to camp nearby; there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Callicoon Creek - North Branch. High temperatures at Lake Hamilton through the days of summer are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. Through the wintertime       highs are mostly in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Lake Hamilton. Lake Hamilton is a wet spot that gets much rainfall; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Camp Lohikan is a good local campground, and a fine nearby hotel is Tanglewood (Vri). This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Callicoon Creek - East Branch. There's just                  no way anyone can get bored here at Lake Hamilton. Lake Hamilton Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Mount Tone. Ski Big Bear has good slopes and a friendly staff. Lakes? Sure, Wallerville Pond is close by.
