Fairfield Inn & Suites Cumberland is a tremendous location to get some rest, and Lake Gordon is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Hidden Springs Campground is a perfect local campground. High temperatures at Lake Gordon throughout the warm months are in the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs through
the winter are in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Lake Gordon drop into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Cumberland-Downtown, Md is a great choice;
brilliant hiking is available along the Dickens Trail. Lake Gordon gets a typical amount of rain; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest month is October.
