Nearby lakes? Sure, Surprise Lake is close to Lake George, and why not pop by nearby Deadman Run while you're here at Lake George. This lake is so wonderful. Drift down the rapids of Beaver Creek in a kayak, and
paddling on Meadow Run is so much fun. Lake George is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Benner's Meadow Run Camping and Cabins is a fine local campground, and if you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel Uniontown Pa is a perfect
choice.
Lake George is right by the Great Gorge Trail. There's so much to do here at Lake George that you need to camp here for a while, Tall Oaks Campground is a magnificent site for that.
